A food, cultural, and community experience.
Celebrating the rich cultural heritage and resilience of refugees through the universal language of food.
This festival serves as a bridge to connect diverse communities, promote cultural exchange, and create opportunities for professional and social integration of refugees in the Cambridge and Boston area.
The Cambridge Refugee Food Festival will celebrate and highlight the skills, cuisines, and traditions of refugee chefs and cooks from countries including Venezuela, Honduras, Afghanistan, Somalia, , Morocco, and Ukraine.
Held in partnership with Roundtable and PAGU Restaurant in honor of World Refugee Day, the inaugural festival will feature an array of bites from around the world, along with cultural storytelling and resources from local organizations and businesses that support refugee communities.
By spotlighting the culinary talents of refugee chefs, the festival aims to foster community connection, create pathways into the local food industry, and invite attendees to learn how to better welcome and support refugees in Greater Boston.
